Our first event of 2023 was an evening open house, featuring a talk by board member Geo Monrufet. Geo Monrufet spent many years on the Lady Rose, first as an engineer, and then as a skipper, during the time when his father, John Monrufet, and his partner Richard McMinn owned the vessel. In this hour long talk, Geo shares memories from his youth up to today, and answers questions about one of the Alberni Inlets most memorable ships.
